  • Dr. Valentin PEPELJUGOSKI, born in 1962 in Prilep, Republic of Macedonia;
  • Faculty of Law graduated at the University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” – Skopje in 1985;
  • Judicial and attorney exam passed in 1987;
  • Master of Law in 1991 in the Faculty of Law in Skopje, on the topic “Monopolisam and its regulations in the world and our country”.
  • Exam for Industrial Property Representative passed in 1998;
  • PhD of Law in 2003 in the Faculty of Law in Skopje, Macedonia, on the topic: “Protection of Industrial Property Rights Against Unfair Competition in the Comparative and Macedonian Law;
  • In March 2005 is elected as Assistant professor in The Faculty of social studies – Skopje, where, up to now, teaches the following subjects: "Harmonization of Laws in EU", "Civil Law", "Procedures before Institutions of EU", “Law on Industrial Property and Copyright", “Judicial and Arbitration Procedure”, “Intellectual Property”,  
  • In may 2005 is elected on the Faculty of Science and Communications in Tetovo, on the subject - Information Technology Law;
  • In October 2009 on the Faculty of Economics – University “St. Kiril and Metodij” – Skopje is elected on the post graduated studies as professor of Law and Legislative of EU”
  • In the period October 2010 – October 2011 is elected as a professor of Intellectual Property Law in the Law Faculty – University  “Goce Delchev” – Shtip
  • From October 2007 as a high professional in the field of intellectual property, on invitation of the Law Faculty “Iustinianus Primus” Skopje has classes in the subject – Law on Intellectual Property.
  • From October 2009 is professor in the framework of TEMPUS Project: REGIONAL JOINT DEGREE MASTER IN INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY LAW (144582 – TEMPUS – 2008 – MK – JPCR)
  • European Patent Attorney is from 2010

Employment:

  • Attorney at Law, since October 15, 1999;
  • Assistant Director of the Industrial Property Protection Office of the Republic of Macedonia, since march 1994;
  • Assistant Minister of Development of the Republic of Macedonia, from July 1993 to February 1994;
  • Judge assistant in the Commercial Court of Macedonia, from January 1991 to June 1993;
  • Counselor at the Public Attorney of the Republic of Macedonia, from 1986 to December 1990.

 

 

Activities and membership:

  • Member of the Commission for passing Exam for Industrial Property Representative in Republic of Macedonia in 4 (four) mandates in the period 1994-2003.
  • Member of the Commission for mediation in the field of copyright and neighboring rights on Macedonian Government from October 2005
  • Member of the Commission for Competition in the period February 2005 – December 2006
  • Educator  in The Macedonian Academy of Judges and Public Prosecutors from May 2007 in the subject Civil Law (Law on Obligations and Intellectual Property Law)
  • Member of Macedonian Commissions and expert Groups in the meetings in many bilateral meetings with EU and USA officials covering the part of intellectual property protection  and competition in the Republic of Macedonia
  • Member of Macedonian Commission for working on Memorandum of the Republic of Macedonia for entering into World Trade Organization (author of the part on industrial property)
  • External Expert – consultant in the field of intellectual property of Macedonian Broadcasting Council in 1999
  • Member of Macedonian Intellectual Property Protection Association;
  • Member of Macedonian Bar Association;
  • Member of Macedonian Business Lawyers Association;
  • Associate Member of International Trademark Association (INTA);
  • Associate Member of American Bar Association;

  • For his activities in the field of promotion of the industrial property protection and support of innovators is awarded by the Belgium Chamber of Inventors in 1997;
